St Stephen-in-Brannel Parish Church has
been at the heart of the community since 1261

Serving one of the largest parishes in Cornwall, this Anglican church has been a focus for worship and community activity for well over 750 years. A much-loved place by all who come here, this parish covers the villagees of St Stephen, Nanpean, (where we have St George's, the mission church), Foxhole, Whitemoor, Treviscoe, Trethosa, Coombe, Lanjeth and High Street, and all the little places in between. We extend a warm welcome to all.

We take the safeguarding of children, and vulnerable adults very seriously whilst in our care and is an integral part of church life. The PCC has adopted The House of Bishops’ Safeguarding Policy ‘Promoting a Safer Church’ and the Diocesan Safeguarding policy, which are available on request. All those working with children and vulnerable adults have had appropriate checks and training. If you have any concerns about safeguarding please contact the Parish Safeguarding Officer, Sacha Burnett-Biscombe here. The Diocesan Safeguarding Officer, Sarah Acraman can be contacted on 01872 274351, or after 5pm or at weekends 01208 251300. In emergency situation please contact the Local Authority Children’s Social Care: 0300 123 1116, or Local Authority Adult’s Social Care: 0300 1234131.
