Weddings

Anyone who lives within the parish, or who has a qualifying connection with the parish can be married in church. If you do not know whether or not you live in the parish you can check very simply and quickly by entering your postcode here.

There are many misconceptions about 'rules and regulations' concerning marriage in church, for example, you don't need to have been christened (or baptised) to be married in church. We like to do everything we possibly can to say 'yes' if you'd like to be married in one of our churches, to help you prepare for your marriage, and make your big day special.

More information about being married in church can be found here

Baptisms

Everyone seeking baptism (sometimes also known as Christenings) will be warmly welcomed. It is an important time to thank God for the gift of life, and a chance to celebrate the new life God gives through water and the Holy Spirit. Whether you are seeking baptism for a baby, a child or even for yourself, the same promises will be made during the service, and a commitment made to follow Christ on a very special journey throughout life.

Baptisms are normally held on Sundays. Please contact us before making any plans - we will however do our very best to accommodate the date you would like. However, some times of the year can be busy, so the earlier you book the better.
